The Peters family started in the horse business in the late 1950’s. George Peters graduated from Cornell University in 1973 and taught at SUNY Cobleskill before accepting a position with Schuylerville Central School where George has taught agriculture and technology courses for many years. He is also the advisor for the local FFA Chapter.
Terry Peters, manager of the Win$um, runs the day to day business of the horse operation and is the bookkeeper of the Ranch. She is a winner of many awards in barrel racing and daughter of Hall of Fame harness racer Don Bromley.
Shawn Quinn, winner of many rodeo awards, is in charge of the roping events and cattle part of the Ranch operation.
